Apartamento Ondina

water pressure was good and the staff of the building were very friendly.

very badly maintained, nothing like the pictures. very dirty couch, curtains, wall. building is in desperate need of restoration. loud area with construction. we left a day early because we were so disappointed and contact with the host was very poor.

well located! the apartment is beautiful, private beach the amenities are nice , the workers are very helpful and friendly everything you see , you get ! sure next time visiting Salvador, I will stay in ondina apart hotel

Comfortable bed and spacious flat.

Bed linen was not clean, there was lipstick stain on my side (Top sheet) and the pillows also didn't smell like clean. We also had shower ranging from warm to cold, we called reception and they came up to check but said there has been some refurbishing and it is being like this, also said we needed to let it run for a while before stepping in, but still didn't work and we had cold shower 2 out of 3 nights, one was kind of warm. The worst part after cold shower was the archaic air conditioning units, they are very noisy and you need to climb up a stool to turn it on/off and adjust speed/temperature, both the bedroom and living room work the same. I couldn’t sleep properly all 3 nights. As mentioned in other reviews there is nothing around the hotel except the small restaurants on ground floor. We tried the Cantina but they were so lost that they couldn’t even stop to take our order, even people already sitting didn’t get service so we left. There is a restaurant within the building on second floor which, we tried for breakfast on our last day but they gave us scrambled eggs instead of fried eggs we ordered, with some halved pieces of bread from the previous day.

Comfortable bed (with lots of pillows), beautifully designed kitchen/living area. Has everything you need for a few days away.

Location could be better but we walked to Rio Vermelho and Barra on different nights and found the walks very pleasant (between 20-30 mins walk along the beaches). There’s not many amenities in the Ondina area so if you don’t like getting buses/taxis/walking, could be a problem.
